Shoaib Rashid is a highly experienced and trusted Criminal Case worker within the firm’s Crown Court Department and has been a valued member of the team for over five years. Throughout this time, he has developed significant expertise in the preparation and progression of serious and complex criminal cases, playing an integral role in the firm’s most demanding Crown Court matters.

Shoaib has substantial experience assisting in Crown Court Cases and he is accustomed to working on multi-handed conspiracy cases involving extensive evidence, complex disclosure schedules, telephone material, forensic evidence, and expert reports.

His role extends far beyond administrative case management. Shoaib is centrally involved in drafting detailed instructions to counsel, preparing statements, analysing prosecution evidence, reviewing unused material, liaising with experts, and ensuring strict compliance with court timetables and procedural rules. His meticulous attention to detail and organised approach ensure that cases are progressed strategically and efficiently from initial instruction through to trial or sentence.

Shoaib works closely with solicitors, counsel, and external experts to ensure that no
evidential issue is overlooked and that every line of defence is properly explored.
Shoaib is currently working towards obtaining his Police Station Accreditation, further
expanding his frontline criminal defence capability. In parallel, he is undertaking the
Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE), demonstrating his commitment to professional development and long-term progression within criminal defence practice. His continued training ensures that his practical experience is reinforced by advancing technical legal knowledge.

With over five years of hands-on experience in serious Crown Court litigation, Shoaib
