Trainee Solicitor

Subhan Rashid is a Trainee Solicitor in the Criminal Law Department at Tyler Hoffman Solicitors, based at our Leeds office. Having successfully completed both his Law Degree and the Legal Practice Course, Subhan is now undertaking his training contract and developing his practice in criminal defence.

Subhan assists on a wide range of criminal matters across both the Magistrates’
Court and Crown Court. His work includes reviewing prosecution evidence,
preparing legal documentation, conducting legal research, and supporting the
strategic preparation of cases from the initial stage of instruction through to court
proceedings.

He is regularly involved in case preparation, liaising with clients, counsel, and third
parties to ensure matters progress efficiently. Subhan plays an active role in
organising case materials, analysing evidence, and ensuring that files are prepared
to the highest standard for hearings and trials.

Known for his organised and proactive approach, Subhan is committed to supporting
both colleagues and clients with professionalism and diligence. Through his work
within the firm, he continues to build his advocacy, litigation, and case management
skills while gaining valuable hands-on experience in criminal defence practice.
